Questions. Four answers that are not a search list.
These are the questions owners bring to this practice. They are not a catalog written to match a query.

Do you need a new bank account before we will look? No. A new account is good for the next purchase. It keeps tomorrow's household receipt from landing in the shop. It does not classify the feed you already have. We will look at the old card whether or not the new account exists. If you want to open one, open it. Do not wait on us for that, and do not wait to call until the new account has a month of history.
Where does the household receipt go if the year was already filed? Often it goes nowhere yet. We name the year and pause. An edit under a filed return can make the books and the return disagree. Sometimes the right move is a formal change to that return. Sometimes the right move is to leave the year and start the split on the first open month. The page you are reading cannot choose for you. The call can, after the year is named. What we will not do is slide the receipt into equity and hope nobody notices the return.
Why ask the tax election before anything moves? Because the home for owner money depends on it. Owner money lands in a different equity place for a disregarded company, a partnership, and an S corporation. Moving a grocery receipt into the wrong equity account feels like progress and leaves a file that is still wrong. If you know the election, say it. If you do not, say that. Unknown is a real answer. Guessed is not.
Will a statement we prepare for a lender carry an opinion? No. The pages can show the shop with owner spending in equity, and they can say that no assurance is expressed. No signature of assurance is attached to those pages. If the lender's letter asks for a signed examination, that request goes to a firm built to sign it. If the letter is handy, read us the sentence that names the product they want. We will tell you whether the letter asks for a cleanup or for assurance. Those are different products, and only one of them is offered here.
What if the only problem is a quiet feed, not a mixed card? Then this may be the wrong front door, and we will say so. A feed that stopped naming charges is a reconciliation problem. A card that paid two lives is a classification problem. They can exist together. They are not the same sentence. The form's first choice is what got mixed. If nothing got mixed, pick the closest honest answer and write the quiet feed in the call, or choose not sure.
Can the household pile be deducted if it was small? Size is not the test. A small household line inside profit is still not a shop cost. Leaving it because it feels minor is how a year of small lines becomes a profit figure nobody trusts. We are not hunting for a performance. We are giving each line a true home.
What should you have in hand? The name of the card or the account, a guess at the oldest mixed month, and whether a return for that stretch is filed. Statements help later. A login is not required to book the conversation. The long number on the plastic stays in your wallet until a scope is written.
Who answers? Steven Palmieri and the team. Calling and sending the form reach the same people. Whoever picks up works inside the practice this site belongs to. If the right answer is that you need a firm that signs assuring reports, that answer is part of the call, including when it means you hire someone else.

Ask the question in your own words.
The card name helps if you have it. Say if the year is filed.
