Two Piles

Business first. The company number was the one that got lost.

The address leads with the company because the other pile was drowning it. A new account is good. It is not the whole cleanup.

Name the card

A man at an office table reads a stack of papers.

People are told to open a second account and stop. That advice protects the next purchase. Tomorrow's hardware receipt can live apart from tomorrow's pharmacy receipt. Yesterday is still one feed. The cleanup is yesterday.

The company number is what remains after owner spending leaves profit. If household lines are still inside expenses, the shop looks weaker than it was. If money you transferred in was booked as a sale, the shop looks stronger than the work. Either way, a reader cannot see the business alone.

This address exists for that reader. An owner who already knows the card paid for two lives. A lender who asked for statements and got a blend. A year that is still open enough to sort. We also say when the honest next step is to stop, because a filed year is not a sandbox.

The election comes first when the company is an LLC. Disregarded, partnership, or S corporation changes the equity line that should hold owner money. We do not move a household receipt until that answer is known, or until you tell us it is unknown and we agree to find it before posting.

A sole owner with no election is a different shape. The same card can still pay both lives. The equity line is simpler, and the risk of calling a household cost a shop cost is the same. Profit is still the business number only after the household lines leave it.

We will also say when you need nothing from us. If the piles are already apart, and the open months already match the bank, stop. The form is not a confession. It asks which card, and whether a year is already filed. If the answer is that the split is done, the right reply is to leave the file alone.

Look under the signoff for the operator line. That line is the only place the publisher is stated. The phone beside it is the public route. No street is printed. The about page holds the one link that leaves this address, and that link is the practice hub.

The sentence under the signoff is the fixed note about how these pages are made. Copying the footer wording into this paragraph would only repeat it. If a line is wrong, call and point at the sentence. The correction lands on the page where you found the error.

What this address will not do is pretend a blend is a shop. It will not invent amounts. It will not treat a cleanup package as an assuring report. Assurance, a pay run, and a close stacked on an unsorted card are refused in the disclosures section. Read that section if a quote you received promised any of those three.

If you came because the word business is in the address, you are in the right conversation. The other pile matters. It is simply not the number the return, the lender, or next year's plan should be built on. Name the card. We will tell you whether the history can be sorted, or whether a filed year means we wait.

Keep going from here.

Name the card that did both.

Say if a year is already filed. We pause on that year before any line moves.
