Two Piles

Terms.

These terms cover the use of this website. They are not an engagement for a cleanup, payday setup, or a return. An engagement, if we both agree to one, is a separate writing that names the scope. Until that writing exists, the site is an explanation of how owner spending leaves company profit.

The pages describe the split, the election that decides the equity line, the pause on a filed year, and what the statements do not assure. They are general. They do not know your facts. They do not quote an amount, and they do not say what a return will show. You are responsible for the decision you make after you read them.

Sending a form does not create a client relationship. We may decline a request. We may ask which card is mixed before we say anything useful. A phone call to the footer number is the same kind of request. It is not yet an engagement.

A call is a conversation. It creates no ongoing duty by itself. Work begins only when both sides sign a written engagement that names the scope. Fees are quoted for that scope before the work starts. Anything outside the scope is quoted before it is done. Either side may end an engagement in writing. You remain responsible for fees earned to that date, and your records are returned to you.

You agree to send information that is yours to send. Do not put someone else's identification number in a form. Do not use the form to send a threat or a file you have no right to share. We may ignore a note that asks for something outside the work this site describes.

The work is only as good as the records it is built on. You are responsible for complete records, for what is in your own systems, and for the decisions you make. We will tell you when a line does not have a true home. We will not label a household receipt as a shop cost to make a month look finished.

The calendar opens only after you tap it. Choosing a time is a request for that time. It is not a guarantee until the practice confirms. If you need to move the time, call the footer number.

The words and images on this site belong to the practice that publishes it. You may read them and quote them with attribution. You may not republish the site or use it to train a product without written permission.

The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise it will never be wrong or never be down. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.

If a court finds one sentence unenforceable, the other sentences stay. Headings are labels. They do not add rules the sentences themselves do not state.

The phone number in the footer is the contact route these terms recognize. A form is a request to use that route. It is not permission to send unrelated offers, and it is not permission to hand the note to a list.

Nothing on the site is an offer to file a paper for you merely because you opened a page. Filing, if it is ever in scope, is spelled out in the engagement. You can close the tab and the relationship is unchanged.

The site stays out of search indexes on purpose until the practice changes that setting. You may link to a page. Linking does not make the page an advertisement you control.

We may update a page when a description is wrong. The disclosures page carries the fixed note about how pages are made. Continuing to use the site after an update means you are looking at the updated page.
